Brick slip facades look convincing only when the corners are resolved as carefully as the field area. On export projects, architects usually focus on the main elevation first, but installers often struggle later with corner returns, cut pieces and joint alignment. A clean facade line starts with deciding whether the project needs factory-made corner slips or a custom cut solution before production is confirmed.
For most premium residential and hospitality projects, factory-produced corner slips reduce visual risk because the edge thickness stays consistent and the masonry effect reads correctly from oblique angles. The installer can keep the joint rhythm stable, avoid random saw cuts on visible corners and maintain the same color balance around openings, parapets and entrance volumes.
Substrate flatness matters just as much as the product itself. If the wall tolerance is not checked before installation, corner modules begin to drift and the facade loses its shadow control. A professional specification should therefore include substrate tolerance, corner module quantity, spare percentage, adhesive recommendation and a batch mixing note for each elevation.
